To explore the butterfly diversity of Feitsui Reservoir, butterfly survey was conducted during January to December in 2012. Low temperatures and rainy day in March 2013 were caused a bias of species richness during survey working. Therefore supplementary resurvey in March 2013 and counted 13 times totally in the project. The results have showed that 5 families 148 species were recorded and seven species are endemic to Taiwan as followed: Pepilio thaiwanus, Euthalia formosana, Chitoria chrysolora Neptis taiwana, Ypthima formosana, Seseria formosana, and Potanthus motzui. In supplementary survey, six species are newly to this area and they are Chilasa epycides melanoleucus, Artipe eryx horiella, Pelopidas agna, Ixias pyrene insignis, Lethe verma cintamani and Symbrenthia liaea Iunices.
