This species has been assigned to the Landscape species[1] management stream under the Saving our Species (SoS) program. Justification for allocation to this management stream

All priority management areas significantly burnt in 2019-20 fires. The species range is thought to be contracting from the north as recent extensive survey work has not picked up the species in the boarder area. This species is distributed across relatively large areas and is subject to threatening processes that generally act at the landscape scale (e.g. habitat loss or degradation) rather than at distinct, defineable locations.
